Yesterday Google launched their Google Plus Project. After taking the tour, I’m extremely impressed and believe that they finally got it right when it comes to social media.
Matter of fact, I believe they’re more prepared to compete with Facebook this go around than they were in times past. If all goes as expected, I think they’ll easily propel past Facebook as the #1 social media network in the world.
But, if you’re still waiting for a coveted invite, takes some time to peruse the following videos. They’ll set the stage for things to come.
Question: What did you think? Will you use Google Plus?

I have heard of Google plus but have yet to try it, so I guess that makes me a beginner! Thanks for this helpful post, now I won’t feel like such a noob!
You’re welcome, Dr. Spinato. Thanks for visiting the site!
I was hooked the moment I read about this. Here are some of the things I will use the most: Circles and Huddle, but I think Spark will get used a lot too. I’m thinking you might be right about giving FB a run for it’s money. I’ve got my email on the waiting list. ((anticipation))
Wonder what this will do to Skype? That Streaming looks pretty darn cool!
Thanks for joining the conversation, Cindi. Regarding Skype, I think they’re in trouble considering they were bought out by Microsoft. I haven’t seen too many innovative things coming from Redmond lately.
Cutting edge from a cutting edge Chiropractor. Looks like a great tool and I’m sure you’ll show us how to optimize the use of it.
I’ll do my very best, Dr. Ed! Thanks for the vote of confidence!!
Google + looks pretty promising. I am still learning how to navigate it and efficiently utilizing it as my social media channel. As of today, I have added Google+ icon to my blog. very interesting to see how FB will react to it. Thank you for informative videos.
As always, you’re welcome, doc! I look forward to connecting with you on Google+!
I recently wrote a blog post about the implications of Google+ for chiropractic online marketing on ChiroMatrix.com. There is already a bunch of evidence that if people interact with your website on Google+ (and give it +1′s) that it will actually help you website show up higher in the Google search results. This has huge implications for chiropractors and SEO enthusiasts, since this is pretty much a brand new way to help improve your website Google ranking. It’s a relatively untapped market for now, too, making it even more important for a chiropractor to get started with Google+.
Thanks for the information, Kelly. And, you’re correct. But one thing is a given … if it involves Google, it involves SEO.
I’d also recommend this excellent write up by ReadWriteWeb titled How to Use Google Plus. It breaks down the specifics extremely well.
Thanks for visiting my site. I do appreciate it.
