post11_billboard_feedIn our last post, we concluded the discussion by reminding you to subscribe to our blog either through email or Rich Site Summary (aka really simple syndication — RSS).

Why?

Because from a reader’s perspective, subscribing to a blog can be a more efficient way to receive the content once it is updated without manually having to check the site.

If you’ll notice, this blog has two ways to subscribe to our content via RSS. You can either receive content via email or through a RSS feed that can be viewed in a newsreader like Google Reader or NewsGator.

When you create your blog, remember to add these two tools to your site. This is a great way to retain readership from busy visitors that prefer to read content on-the-go.

Stay tuned because in our next post we’ll provide a FREE resource that you can use to automate the subscription process for your blog.
