dr-ikeWelcome to our #followfriday series. If you’re new to the site, please read the introductory post for this series. It’ll get you up-to-speed on why this series exists and its purpose.

Once again, I’d like to thank each one of you that have responded and shown interest in participating. I’m having a great time getting to know you and am appreciating who you are even more.

If you’re just joining us and would like to participate in the series, simply direct message me through Twitter or fill out the contact form for this blog.

As soon as I receive your request, I’ll respond back asking for the information you’d like featured.

This week it is my pleasure to introduce to you our #followfriday chiropractor, Dr. Jason Eichacker.

Dr. Eichacker practices at the Gage Chiropractic Center located in Derby, Kansas.

The practice has existed since 1976. They have two full-time doctors and five support staff that cover the floor from 7am-6pm on weekdays.

Since they serve a diverse community, both doctors typically care for the “traditional” neck and back pain cases, as well as headaches and occasionally extremities. In addition, they have on-site rehabilitation services for their patients.

Dr. Eichacker’s primary technique in the office is Thompson, though some Diversified and Activator adjustments are performed as well.

Dr. Eichacker states, “As with most DCs, I think it’s fair to say I utilize a hybrid of many different methods to accommodate my body. I’m a shade under 5’11” and my wingspan is about 6’2”…all arms and legs.”

His purpose and passion are focused entirely on educating and empowering people to joyfully reach for all of themselves.  He believes that chiropractic’s very nature is the full expression of human potential and feels that sharing his enthusiasm for peak function in all aspects helps others to see that they can be more.

Outside of the practice, he enjoys reading and writing. Matter of fact, he’s in the early stages of putting together several books of his own.  He also loves listening to and discussing music.

Another priority is his workouts.

He states, “I really like working out and feel it’s a necessary component of my ability to focus throughout the day.”

He’s a big fan of Manchester United and the University of Kentucky. Consequently, on game days he’ll do his best to arrange his schedule whenever possible so that he can watch them live.

One of the things I truly appreciate about Dr. Eichacker is the fact that he understands and values the importance of blogging. He does a great job communicating his philosophy and the importance of chiropractic care through this incredibly powerful online medium.
