How to Integrate Your Chiropractic Facebook Fan Page with Twitter

post60-facebook-connectEver since Facebook acquired FriendFeed, I’ve been suspicious. Not fiscally but technologically. You see, my theory is that Facebook is like Wal-Mart — go for global dominance or die.

According to Alexa.com, they’re listed as the third most popular website just under Google and Yahoo. And, you can bet your bottom dollar that they have no plans of letting that rank slip to someone like Twitter.

However, it hasn’t been smooth sailing from inception. They’ve had a few hiccups and angered many a folk. Remember the backlash that ensued when they changed the interface. The outrage forced them to temporarily keep older aesthetics in place just to appease the masses.

Why Chiropractors Need to Read Socialnomics by Erik Qualman

I realize we all stay fairly busy — not just with our practices, but also our daily lives. Nevertheless, one of the signs of a true leader and entrepreneur is staying current with changing times.

One of the biggest changes occurring globally is how we communicate. Case in point, look at how rapidly social media networks have grown to accommodate ever-advancing technology. People of all ages are signing up en masse just to be able to connect with friends and family across the globe. What was once seen as an impossibility is now today’s reality.

Taking My Chiropractic Blog to the Next Level

post58-earthYou probably have been asking yourself if I’ve fallen off the face of the earth. Within the blogosphere, posting only two posts over the last two weeks is as close to blogging blasphemy as one can get. ;-)

In my defense, however, life has been extremely busy. But, I’m not going to spend the rest of this post making excuses — you’ve got better things to do and so do I!

The Anatomy of Next Generation Chiropractor's Blog

post56-screenflowT oday, I’ve decided to do something a little bit different from my typical blog posts. Since I occasionally receive basic questions about blogs and blogging, I’ve put together a screencast that will walk you through the structure of my blog, NextGenerationChiropractor.com.

Believe it or not, there are chiropractors out there who have never even heard of the term blog. I guess this shouldn’t surprise us since less than 1% of chiropractors actually blog. Nevertheless, those that do discover blogging obviously have multiple questions that typically are elementary in nature. Thus, the purpose of this screencast — to demonstrate the anatomy of my blog and how I use it.

Chiropractic Marketing for Today's Chiropractor

Let’s play twenty questions …

Do you market your practice? If so, how? What about when? And, to whom?

What plan have you devised? Is it working for you? Does it provide a solid return on investment? Or, does it break the bank?

What about your message? Does it add value to your prospects? Or, does it add additional noise to the traditional marketing model?

Speaking of model, are you stuck in only outbound marketing? Do you even know what the term outbound marketing means?

If you do, what about inbound marketing? Have you devised a plan for this model? If so, have you implemented it? Are you tracking its results? Are you committed to its long-term strategy? Or, have you given up already?

Are you tired of answering questions?

Good because I’m tired of asking them! ;-)
