How Chiropractors Can Use Social Media to Grow Their Practices

by Dr. Patrick MacNamara on December 4, 2009 · 6 comments

growthBefore we head into the weekend, I wanted to quickly distribute the following video that covers how chiropractors can use social media to grow their practices.

The example I use focuses on a condition of the week or symptom of the week and shows chiropractors how they can distribute their message using various social media tools.

Now before you get all bent out of shape by the mentioning of the words condition and symptom, you need to realize that most people enter your office with a medical mindset.

They’re not programmed to think wellness. They have no knowledge of subluxations. So, you need to meet them where they are at before you introduce them to the subluxation complex.

Now before you click the video’s play button, I encourage you to set aside around 17 – 18 minutes of your time.

If you’re new to social media marketing, you should walk away with a sense of how powerful the Internet has become to market your chiropractic practice.

Enjoy!

The specific sites that I mention in the video are as follows:

  1. Facebook
  2. Twitter
  3. YouTube
  4. LinkedIn
  5. Aweber
  6. Constant Contact
  7. TubeMogul
  8. Ping.fm
  9. Blog Talk Radio
  10. TokBox
  11. UStream.tv

That was amazing, can’t wait to get started on some of your ideas. Many of your suggestions I have already set up, however…I have not utilized them. Shame on me.

I especially was interested in the FaceBook fan page app for email updates.

Cindi :: Thanks for the comment! I’m glad you found the video amazing.

Regarding implementing email updates with your Facebook Fan Page, maybe I’ll write a blog post on how to do that in the near future.

Have a wonderful weekend!
