Eyejot Allows Chiropractors to Send Video eMail Without Using Tokbox

Yesterday TokBox announced that their highly utilized video messaging functionality would be removed from their provided services beginning mid-July. As stated by TokBox, what this means is that you will no longer be able to record a video message and send it to multiple people.

At first this made no sense to me since TokBox was founded upon making video communications easier for people through the tools they commonly use — like email.

But upon further investigation, it appears their mission has shifted to become an industry leader in video conferencing and virtual meeting services instead of more antiquated technology like email.

How to Build a Facebook Landing Page for Your Chiropractic Practice

According to Alexa, Facebook’s traffic rank is #2 in the world. Obviously the #1 ranked site is Google but in other countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore, Facebook is #1.

Because of Facebook’s rapid rise and stratospheric growth, rumors have been circulating that Google will soon launch “Google Me” just to make sure Facebook doesn’t usurp them.

Matter of fact, PCMag, referenced in the above link, must have seen the same tweet as I did on Saturday evening.

Google Voice Takes Telephony For Chiropractors to a Whole New Level

A few days ago as early adopters anxiously awaited seeing FedEx trucks arrive at their doorsteps with a shiny new iPhone 4, Google announced that Google Voice was now out of beta and readily available to the masses.

Even though I requested an invite many moons ago, I never was granted access to see how their technology would fit into my lifestyle. Call me paranoid but maybe it’s due to my loyalty to 1 Infinite Loop. ;-)

Regardless, now that Google Voice is out of beta, I’m a proud owner of a Google Voice phone number and have had some time to test out some of its features.

But, before I highlight these, I recommend that you watch the following video:

What Would You Do If Facebook Shutdown and Twitter Disappeared

Everyday I’m inundated with the latest ideas on how to use Facebook and Twitter to grow a small business. From building snazzy landing pages within Facebook to growing Twitter followers automatically over night, the amount of information on how to use these services is overwhelming.

But, if you’re like me, you need to step away from the fire hydrant every once in awhile to gain a fresh perspective and to keep first things first.

What Chiropractic Businesses Require for Continual Growth and Success

Before I discuss today’s topic, I wanted to thank each one of you for your loyalty to Next Generation Chiropractor. Even though I only published one blog post last week due to an extended vacation, reader comments, reader engagement, and overall reader visits remained consistent when compared to previous site stats. For that, I’m extremely grateful.

While on vacation, I had ample time to reflect. So, during those Innate moments, I jotted down many notes, overtaxed my Evernote account, and drained my iPhone’s battery multiple times just to make sure I didn’t lose the creative ideas that kept escaping my cerebral cortex.

One of those thoughts revolved around what chiropractic businesses require for continual growth and success.

Celebrate Father’s Day with an Online Chiropractic Marketing Strategy

This past Saturday, I sent an email out to all subscribers of Next Generation Chiropractor informing them of a certain special that I’m running until June 21st. If you missed it, then you’re probably not on my email newsletter list. If that’s the case, I encourage you to sign up today.

Besides staying abreast with Next Generation Chiropractor’s latest information, you’ll also receive time-sensitive announcements before non-subscribers do.

For example, the email sent on Saturday reminded subscribers that Father’s Day is just around the corner. Therefore, I decided to offer something special for “good ole Dad” called the Father’s Day Celebration Special.

How to Insert an Image into Your Chiropractic Blog Post

As more chiropractors embrace WordPress to market their chiropractic practices, some of the questions I receive are elementary. But, as the old saying goes, no question is a dumb question because everyone starts at different levels.

With that said, today’s screencast covers a question that I receive on a continual basis from blogging newbies. And, to be quite honest, it’s a great question when you’re not familiar with the WordPress dashboard.

Why I switched from Wibiya to the Meebo Toolbar

On February 12, 2010, I announced the introduction of the Wibiya toolbar for Next Generation Chiropractor’s site. For more on its background, please see How to Engage Your Chiropractic Blog Readers Through the Wibiya Toolbar.

After taking the toolbar through its paces, I must confess that the results have been satisfactory. The bottom line is that the toolbar did increase engagement with my content and helped boost awareness through both Facebook and Twitter.

However, even though I’ve been pleased with its results, I’m constantly trying new things and services. Therefore, I’ve uninstalled Wibiya and installed Meebo to see what all the hype has been about.

Why?

Apple’s iPhone 4 Changes Everything for Chiropractors Again

Yesterday in San Francisco Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, kicked off WWDC 2010 with his traditional keynote address. In typical Steve Job’s fashion, he quickly mesmerized the crowd with the latest stats and technology from Apple.

Even though he began by discussing the magical iPad, every developer sitting in the room knew that the main event would be centered around the iPhone. And, it wasn’t too long before Jobs & Company tempted the audience with things to come by reviewing all the great features packed into their updated mobile operating system, now called iOS4.

5 Top Twitter Clients for Chiropractors

On May 1, 2008, I opened my very first Twitter account. Matter of fact, as of this post, I’ve been tweeting for 2 years, 1 month, 3 days, 11 hours, 3 minutes, and 34 seconds. But, who’s counting, right? ;-)

Today I own and manage eight separate Twitter accounts. The majority of them are exclusive to chiropractors and have been instrumental in helping me distribute my message.

Matter of fact, outside of organic search, Twitter brings me more traffic to Next Generation Chiropractor than any other source.

Because of this, I pay special attention to the conversations that develop on Twitter on a daily basis.
