NetworkedBlogs Gives Chiropractors More Visibility on Facebook

If you’re new to blogging and not quite sure how to grab the attention of new readers, then I recommend that you start leveraging the power of social media networks like Facebook and Twitter.

As I’ve mentioned before, there are many methods chiropractors can use to get their chiropractic blog noticed. For example, tools like Twitterfeed, Google Socialize, Ping.fm, and TubeMogul are just a few.

But, before you start broadcasting your message, make sure your presence on Facebook and Twitter have been established.

How to Create a Facebook Fan Page for Your Chiropractic Practice

As Facebook approaches 500 million users, chiropractors need to understand the importance of this global network and how to connect their practices with its members.

With around 50% of their active users logging in on any given day, people are spending over 500 billion minutes per month interacting with friends and loved ones.

In addition, people are also interacting with over 160 million objects (pages, groups, and events) with the average user connecting to 60 pages, groups, and events each month.

But, just having an account doesn’t guarantee chiropractic marketing success. Chiropractors need to implement other tools in order to connect prospects to business.

5 Social Media Management Solutions for Busy Chiropractors

As more chiropractors begin experimenting with social media marketing, one of the challenges they’ll face is how to organize and manage their campaigns within various social media networks.

For beginners, I recommend services like Ping.fm and Tubemogul. They’re easy to use, integrate well with multiple social media networks, and save chiropractors valuable time.

In addition, Ping.fm can update all of your accounts at once either via text or smartphone app. For a more detailed discussion on both, read 2 Ways to Quickly Update Your Social Media Sites All at Once.

4 SEO Tips Chiropractors Can Use to Increase PageRank

One fallacy I see chiropractors embrace when starting a chiropractic blog is that once they publish a few posts they’ll be quickly found. Unfortunately, nothing can be further from the truth. Building an online presence takes time, persistence, and a basic understanding on how search engines work.

Yes, your chances increase if your blog’s built within WordPress, uses the proper mix of plugins, and is indexed with major search engines like Google and Bing. But, if you don’t pay attention to the details, your blog will be just one of the hundreds of millions that clutter the blogosphere and waste valuable bandwidth.

So, before you start a chiropractic blog, you really need to understand its purpose, commitment level, and power. I won’t elaborate on the aforementioned since I’ve written about them before; but, suffice it to say, when blogs are used properly, they can put you on the map and drive hundreds of new patients into your chiropractic practice’s door.

12 iPhone Apps I Can’t Live Without

Ever since the original iPhone made its debut on June 29, 2007, I’ve been mesmerized by its capabilities and ease of use. Matter of fact, since I’m an early adopter with Apple products, I was one of the fortunate few that had “iPhone in hand” the day it was released.

As time has progressed, my purchase pattern for subsequent generations has remained the same by snagging the 3G on July 11, 2008, the 3GS on June 19, 2009, and the iPhone 4 on June 24, 2010.

Fortunately for me, I always qualify for discounted upgrades since I have five AT&T mobile phone lines. So, as each new iPhone is released, I’m able to take advantage of its lower price while family members enjoy the next-to-new hand-me downs.

One of the things I love about the iPhone is its seamless integration with Mac OS X. Applications that I use daily on my 27″ iMac can now be accessed on-the-go without having to lug around my 13″ MacBook Pro.

Even though I have 88 applications installed on my iPhone 4, there are twelve that I absolutely can’t live without. They are as follows:

VoxOx Gives Chiropractors Another Choice Besides Google Voice

Over a week ago, I wrote a post about Google Voice coming out of beta. Based off of the comments I received for that post, it appears that several chiropractors were able to put Google Voice through its paces before the rest of us.

Nevertheless, I still activated the service within my Google account and started exploring its features. I must say after a week of testing it out, I’m quite pleased with the service.

However, I’m also cautiously optimistic. Based off of several readers’ perspectives, all the kinks apparently haven’t been ironed out yet.

How to Optimize a Movie File for Web Playback Using Mac OS X

One thing’s for sure– technology changes rapidly. And, if you’re talking about the Internet, you can guarantee that every single day new forms of technology are developed to help enhance our online experience. Matter of fact, it changes so fast that most people take for granted the hours developers put in to make our online activities smooth and effortless.

However, one of the main backbones to the Internet, known as HTML or HyperText Markup Language, doesn’t change as quickly as other aspects of web technology. Furthermore, since its inception in 1991, HTML has gone through only four major metamorphoses.

Why Being Serious is Not Always Productive

Are you the serious type? Do you constantly think about your chiropractic practice and ways to make it better? Do you stress about the details and can’t relax until they’re all in place?

If so, welcome to my world. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told to not take myself and life so serious. But what’s a melancholy suppose to do when he’s predisposed to seeing life more serious than jovial?
