4 YouTube SEO Resources for Chiropractors

YouTube for ChiropractorsIt seems like every time I fire up Flipboard and dive into its Tech section, I find ample articles on Google and Facebook. It doesn’t come as a surprise, though, considering they are the top two visited websites in the world.

But what about YouTube who sits at number three?

Outside of recent announcements regarding channels and live streaming, I typically don’t see very many articles written for small businesses that show how to maximize its platform and services.

And, it’s not that I’m not looking for them either. Especially when you consider that I subscribe to over 1000 RSS feeds related to technology and social media.

You may wonder how I read over 1000 RSS feeds per week. Truth be known, I don’t. I just simply scan headlines for potentially relevant and useful information that can be forwarded to Evernote for later review and research.

Matter of fact, that’s how this blog post was born. While scanning my YouTube tags inside Evernote the other day, I came across four gems that I felt compelled to share with you. They are my top four resources I turn to when reviewing search engine optimization for YouTube videos.

They are as follows:

1. How to Optimize YouTube Videos for SEO

2. How to Boost Your SEO with a YouTube Channel

3. How to Optimize YouTube Videos — YouTube Optimization Tips

4. YouTube SEO Experiment & Useful Tips

In addition to the above links, I also recommend that you watch the following presentation produced by Mark Robertson of ReelSEO. It’s filled with great tips that’ll help any chiropractor move further up the search ladder with a little time and patience.

In closing, don’t ignore YouTube. Since it’s the second largest search engine on the Internet, you really need to include videos as an integral part of your marketing strategy. By properly optimizing your videos, you can further the reach of your practice’s message inside your local community.

Question: Do you use YouTube to market your chiropractic practice? Is so, how effective has it been toward educating your local community about who you are, what you provide, and what results your current patients are experiencing?

  1. Thanks for the excellent article and references! This gives me a framework to go with in developing my YouTube presence. I have 11 chiropractic related videos so far on YouTube and now I have a much better feel and direction for how best utilize these videos.

Do you think it is worth the time and effort to write and submit guest blogs on myguestblog.com, to get links to your video, as suggested in “How to Optomize Your Video for SEO”? With the somewhat limited time available, I’m not sure where my time should be allocated.

    • You’re welcome, Dr. Barger. I’m glad you found this post valuable.

Regarding your question, no I don’t think it’s worth your time and effort to submit guest blog posts to that particular domain. Instead, focus on creating backlinks through relevant comments and trackbacks to similar content within your niche.
