Chiropractic Apps: iPhone & Android Apps for Chiropractors
If you’re an Apple aficionado, you’re probably already aware of Apple’s big iPhone event that’s scheduled for tomorrow. If you have no clue on what I’m talking about, then see Brett Molina’s Report: Apple event slated for Oct. 4 that was featured in USA Today.
Just like previous events, Apple will hit a home run by unveiling new products and services that’ll transform the way we do business and enjoy life. It’s the former that I’d like to focus on today — transforming the way chiropractors do business.
Over 50% of those that connect to the Internet today are doing so via a mobile device. Local mobile search volume is growing exponentially at 50% per year. 80% of searchers research online before purchasing in a 10-20 mile radius. And, the #1 access method for local information is the mobile browser with 20.7 million users per month.
With so many prospects turning to mobile devices, I have to wonder how many chiropractors are capitalizing on this phenomenon or just simply letting business pass them by.
Is YOUR chiropractic practice ready?

The Future of Screen Technology
For those that know me well, following future trends in technology are not only a hobby of mine but also a passion. From Apple’s iPhone to PHP, I attempt to stay current with what’s happening right now as well as what’s coming down the pike.
Screen technology is no exception. Ever since Apple unveiled its first generation of iPhones, I’ve been fascinated with touch screen technology and its capabilities.
It was during that time that I also realized that their innovation would take computing to an entirely different level as well as pave the way for new markets and technologies.

12 iPhone Apps I Can’t Live Without
Ever since the original iPhone made its debut on June 29, 2007, I’ve been mesmerized by its capabilities and ease of use. Matter of fact, since I’m an early adopter with Apple products, I was one of the fortunate few that had “iPhone in hand” the day it was released.
As time has progressed, my purchase pattern for subsequent generations has remained the same by snagging the 3G on July 11, 2008, the 3GS on June 19, 2009, and the iPhone 4 on June 24, 2010.
Fortunately for me, I always qualify for discounted upgrades since I have five AT&T mobile phone lines. So, as each new iPhone is released, I’m able to take advantage of its lower price while family members enjoy the next-to-new hand-me downs.
One of the things I love about the iPhone is its seamless integration with Mac OS X. Applications that I use daily on my 27″ iMac can now be accessed on-the-go without having to lug around my 13″ MacBook Pro.
Even though I have 88 applications installed on my iPhone 4, there are twelve that I absolutely can’t live without. They are as follows:

Apple’s iPhone 4 Changes Everything for Chiropractors Again

Yesterday in San Francisco Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, kicked off WWDC 2010 with his traditional keynote address. In typical Steve Job’s fashion, he quickly mesmerized the crowd with the latest stats and technology from Apple.
Even though he began by discussing the magical iPad, every developer sitting in the room knew that the main event would be centered around the iPhone. And, it wasn’t too long before Jobs & Company tempted the audience with things to come by reviewing all the great features packed into their updated mobile operating system, now called iOS4.

14 iPhone Tools Chiropractors can Use to Tap Into the Smartphone Industry
On Monday, June 7, the 2010 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference will kick off at 10 a.m. (PST) in traditional fashion with a keynote address presented by CEO Steve Jobs. And, you can bet the farm that I’ll be tuned in like a hawk.
Even though most chiropractors may be oblivious to this one week conference, the technologies that are born at 1 Infinite Loop to take stage at WWDC are always revolutionary and typically turn industries upside down.
I can assure you that this coming Monday will be no exception. From the unveiling of Apple’s 4th-generation iPhone to the release of OS 4, as Steve Jobs stated in his response to a late night email from a customer, “You won’t be disappointed.”

Next Generation Chiropractor is Now Available on Apple’s iTunes
After many months of procrastinating, I’ve finally uploaded the first episode of Next Generation Chiropractor’s podcast.
You can subscribe to it by clicking HERE, clicking the purple iPod Nano located in the left sidebar under Subscribe to My Podcast, or by searching for Next Generation Chiropractor in iTunes’ search field.
Whichever way you choose, your subscription is greatly appreciated!
I’d planned to have completed this many moons ago but have had several irons in the fire.
Not that I’m complaining, but most of my energy has been put toward Blogging Chiros — and, rightly so since it is the premier 24/7/365 membership site for chiropractors who want to learn how to build a successful chiropractic blog for their chiropractic practice via step-by-step tutorials.

5 Lessons Chiropractors Can Learn from Apple Products like the iPad
If you haven’t heard already, today was Apple’s first major media event of 2010. It was held at 10 a.m. Pacific Time at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater. And, yes, I was tuned in like a kid on Christmas morning!
To be honest, you’d have to be living under a rock to have not heard about Apple’s iPad. It’s been all the rage amongst analysts, speculators and rumormongers. And, rightly so considering Apple’s successful history of launching products into the stratosphere through dramatic suspense caused by their code of silence!
Nevertheless, this go around I even got in on the mix. Matter of fact, I updated my Facebook status with the following:
