How Chiropractic Bloggers Can Avoid Writer’s Block

Wad of PaperEvery once in a while chiropractic bloggers face the inevitable writer’s block. Although there are various causes, most blocks simply come from a lack of creativity or inspiration. Others come from a misunderstanding of the purpose of a blog.

Matter of fact, I hear it all of the time … “What’s so important about what I have to say?” or “Will people understand what I’m talking about?”

If you’ve asked yourself the above questions, then you’re approaching your blog from the wrong perspective. Remember, it’s not about you, it’s about them!

Every time you sit in front of your computer to write a new blog post, think about what your readers want to read. Better yet, find out what they’re searching for when they visit Google or other search engines. This will help fine-tune your message and get it noticed during search.

In addition, get creative by using online resources. By being an ear and eye, you’ll not only produce better content that meets the needs, wants, and desires of your prospects but will also become more efficient with your time.

For starters, check out the following resources that’ll help chiropractors avoid writer’s block.

3 Blog Posts For The Beginning Chiropractic Blogger

BeginnerOccasionally I get emails from chiropractors asking me how to get started with blogging and Internet marketing. Obviously, one of the first places I point them to is Next Generation Chiropractor.

By perusing the archives, chiropractors will find over 250 articles that focus on building a stronger web presence through the use of blogs and social media networks.

Besides Next Generation Chiropractor, I also developed Blogging Chiros as an extensive training library for the beginning chiropractic blogger.

The beauty of Blogging Chiros is that you access all 50+ lessons 24/7/365 for an unbelievably low one time price of $97. This way learning can be on your terms for pennies on the dollar.

But if you don’t want to spend $97 and need another quick resource, then I recommend reading the following 3 Blog Posts for the Beginning Chiropractic Blogger:

How to Schedule Your Chiropractic Blog Post For Later

One of the nicest features about WordPress is its easy-to-use dashboard. For many first time users, the intimidation of web publishing is quickly diminished once they see how similar things look to the typical text editor.

For example, if one remains inside the Visual Editor, toolbar icons are similar to the ones found inside Microsoft Word.

To align text, images, or videos, one simply selects what needs to be edited, clicks on the center icon, and voilà! … the changes are applied.

However, other aspects of the dashboard’s functionality are either found through additional study or by happenstance as one rummages around.

How to Hyperlink Text Within Your Chiropractic Blog Posts

HyperlinkMaintaining a chiropractic blog is one of the smartest things chiropractors can do to market their products and services through the Internet.

Not only are blogs indexed more rapidly than most other sites, but they also provide ways for chiropractors to quickly announce upcoming events, promotions, and other happenings that are associated with their chiropractic practice.

If you’re new to this blog and are having difficulty wrapping your head around the above statement, then I highly suggest that you signup to receive my newest free ebook titled Why Chiropractic Blogs Should Be Chiropractors’ Internet Marketing Tool of Choice.

How to Give Chiropractic Assistants Access to Your Chiropractic Blog

Let’s face it … running a chiropractic practice takes finesse, focus, and fortitude. Unlike medical doctors, chiropractors don’t have the luxury of plugging into a system that’s already been created for them. Instead, we have to spread our entrepreneurial wings and learn how to fly ourselves.

For many, that’s not a bad thing. I’d much rather be an entrepreneur that delivers true healthcare instead of a technician that delivers sickness care. We, as chiropractors, have the best of both worlds handed to us upon graduation — the ability to get sick people well and to generate a lucrative income from our service.

Nevertheless, an efficient system built within the right business model is still a must. It’s the foundation that supports the practice both now and into the future — and, we all know how valuable that is during this turbulent era of healthcare!

How to Categorize and Tag Your Chiropractic Blog Post

In my last post I explained that over the next few weeks I’ve decided to concentrate on writing very basic “how to” blog posts associated with the art of blogging and inbound marketing. Today, I’d like to continue where I left off by covering another basic but equally important topic — How to Categorize and Tag Your Chiropractic Blog Post.

But, before I walk you through the steps, let’s look at a few definitions that explain what categories and tags are in association with blogging.

How to Publish Your First Chiropractic Blog Post

Recently, I sent out surveys to my Chiropractic Blog Designs’ customers to determine if they understood how to properly use the chiropractic blogs I created for them. The results weren’t too alarming but did help me refine the teaching strategies I use to train chiropractors on how to properly use blogs and their accompanying technologies.

One of the themes I repeatedly saw throughout these surveys was the demand for basic “how to” instructions. Even though Blogging Chiros is armed with over fifty instructional videos and articles, some chiropractors need even simpler instructions than what Blogging Chiros offers.

So, in the coming weeks, possibly months, I’ve decided to concentrate on writing very basic “how to” blog posts associated with the art of blogging and inbound marketing. If I don’t cover the specific problem you’re experiencing, either be patient because I probably will or simply let me know and I’ll add it to my editorial calendar.
