Chiropractic Apps: iPhone & Android Apps for Chiropractors

Chiropractic iPhone & Android AppsIf you’re an Apple aficionado, you’re probably already aware of Apple’s big iPhone event that’s scheduled for tomorrow. If you have no clue on what I’m talking about, then see Brett Molina’s Report: Apple event slated for Oct. 4 that was featured in USA Today.

Just like previous events, Apple will hit a home run by unveiling new products and services that’ll transform the way we do business and enjoy life. It’s the former that I’d like to focus on today — transforming the way chiropractors do business.

Over 50% of those that connect to the Internet today are doing so via a mobile device. Local mobile search volume is growing exponentially at 50% per year. 80% of searchers research online before purchasing in a 10-20 mile radius. And, the #1 access method for local information is the mobile browser with 20.7 million users per month.

With so many prospects turning to mobile devices, I have to wonder how many chiropractors are capitalizing on this phenomenon or just simply letting business pass them by.

How to Start A Chiropractic Mobile Marketing Campaign

Mobile Device PlatformsMobile marketing for chiropractors is a new concept. Matter of fact, within the circle of chiropractors I associate with from around the world, I can only think of a handful that are doing it.

Why?

Because they’re innovators.

Innovators, as Geoffrey Moore points out in his book Crossing the Chasm, pursue new technology aggressively.

Matter of fact, they seek them out before others — even before a formal marketing program has been launched. This is because technology is a central interest in their life, regardless of what function it is performing.

Mobile Marketing for Chiropractors

As 2011 progressed, many chiropractors began emailing me on how to get started. Matter of fact, I’ve received more emails regarding mobile marketing than any other topic over the last few months. Because of both the need and interest, I founded Mobile Marketing for Chiropractors.

3 Ways to Market Local Using Mobile for Chiropractors

Market Local Using MobileAs more mobile devices flood the marketplace, chiropractors need to follow suit by making sure their web presence is mobile-friendly. By doing so, you’ll not only remove barriers that people face when trying to access web content via a mobile device but will also increase your chance of winning business right out of the gate.

There’s a business principle that should drive home this point — First impressions are lasting impressions.

What type of impression are you projecting when prospects view your website? Is it one that portrays an out-dated web presence? Or does it reflect advancing technologies and accessibility awareness?

If not, consider this — according to Comscore, over 60 million people in the United States own a smart phone. Obviously, this number will continue to soar and predictions show that the mobile web will rule by as early as 2015.

So, in order to stay current with rapidly changing times, allow me to give you 3 ways chiropractors can use mobile to market local.

Survey for Chiropractors: Maximizing Your Marketing Efforts Locally

CheckmarkMarketing locally is nothing new to a practicing chiropractor. Matter of fact, the majority of chiropractors are extremely well-versed on how to market locally through traditional mediums like newspaper ads, yellow page phonebooks, and val-pac coupons.

Unfortunately, many of these traditional tactics aren’t generating results like they used to, let alone creating adequate return-on-investment dollars. Instead, chiropractors are finding themselves wasting precious marketing dollars inside a paradigm that is slowly dying.

But, for the cognizant chiropractor, inbound marketing strategies have replaced traditional models. This paradigm shift has not only opened new doors for the practicing chiropractor but also laid the foundation toward a healthy web presence right out of the gate.

Ez Texting Makes Mass Text Messaging a Snap for Chiropractors

Ez textingStaying true to my word for 2011, let’s continue our focus on mobile marketing for chiropractors. And, since we’re at the ground floor of mobile marketing, let’s look at one area that can truly change how you market and communicate with your chiropractic patients.

What area is that?

Mass text messaging.

As Mashable reported, “Text messaging is one of the most popular communication methods in the world. The cost of a cell phone and SMS plan compared to that of a computer and a broadband connection has made texting extremely popular in developing countries, and “unlimited messaging” plans have made it the communication medium of choice for teens everywhere (beating face-to-face conversation and e-mail in popularity).”

They also provided a nice infographic associated with their story on The Rise of Text Messaging. I uploaded it to my Posterous account for quick access.

But, as a chiropractor, how can you streamline the process? How can you effortlessly communicate with patients? How can you manage so many phone numbers? And, how expensive is it to play the game?

3 Infographics That Support Linking Mobile To Local

MobileIf you recall, on December 15, 2010, I announced in my post titled Why Thinking Mobile to Market Local is Smart for Chiropractors that I’d be shifting some of my focus away from just blogging and social networking to local mobile marketing.
