Great video Dr. Mac. Clean sound, great graphics. Do share when you get a chance on a later post.
Here is my question. In my small town there isn’t a large social media presence on line. I’m involved with as many social media sites as is possible. Do you have any suggestions on mixed media use to drive potential patients to the blog and/or social media sites by raising interest using direct mail, newsprint and/or any other media?
For example: a Newsprint ad that drives people to a video and/or blog post making more information available.
Dr. Doughty :: Thanks for the kind remarks. I’d be more than happy to share how I record screencasts in a future blog post.
Regarding your question, you basically answered it for yourself. It doesn’t matter what form of media you use as long as you provide a web address to your blog for prospects to receive more information. In other words, use something like a newspaper ad as a hook to drive them to your blog as well as providing a sense of urgency for them to move forward. Remember, it’s an art, not a science.
Brilliant screencast Dr. MacNamara. All chiropractors need to see this video!!
Some interesting statistics there, and I like how you mention the blog as the hub for all your online marketing activities. Traditional static websites are on their way out.
Jeremy :: Glad you enjoyed the screencast! And, I’m always grateful when you pass along the information to other colleagues.
Finally getting to comment on the post
Sorry, I’ve been very busy with practice, thanks to blogging and using social media!
I’ve been reading and implementing what Dr. MacNamara’s says for about 3 months now and practice volume is up 20% for 3rd quarter 2009 vs the 1st and 2nd quarter! No doubt inbound marketing works !
Thanks Dr MacNamara!
Dr. Doughty, I too practice in a my small town. All I do is mail a monthly post card out that mirrors the monthly blog series topic. Which, then directs them to go to web blog for more information. I also list site on all printed materials, signs, etc.
Also can wait for Dr. Macnamara to discuss how to do screencast posts. As I would love to put power point presentations on web blog.
Dr. Heins :: Great stuff! I love to hear success stories when it comes to this topic. Just like you said, “No doubt inbound marketing works!”
Oh, by the way, the screencast post is coming real soon!
