Over in Blogging Chiros this week, we’re discussing how to bridge the gap between setting up a blog and marketing it via social media networks.
Tools like RSS feeds, RSS via email and email newsletter opt-in fields are critical to the success of any serious blogger.
Why?
Because they allow you to capture leads from some of your most valuable readers.
You see, as a business owner, it makes no sense to devote hours in creating quality content if you don’t have a way to capture readers’ contact information outside of what they provide in the comment section of each blog post.
Now don’t misunderstand me. The comments section of a blog is extremely valuable.
Matter of fact, many times it’ll provide more value than the actual blog post itself.
How?
Through the additional conversations that are stimulated from the original content.
As people respond, more opinions are interjected and new ideals are catalyzed causing the original subject matter to morph into a deeper work of art.
That’s the beauty of Web 2.0 platforms. It provides us with the tools necessary to stimulate dialogue for the benefit of others.
However, blogging entrepreneurs don’t stop there. Instead, they focus incessantly on how to exchange valuable content for readers’ names and email addresses.
Within Blogging Chiros, members learn how to do this through various ways.
But today, I’d like to share with you one of those ways via a video produced by Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net.
In this video, Darren does an exceptional job explaining how to find more RSS subscribers for your blog. The video is just over six minutes long but, I promise, if you’ll watch it, you’ll come away with some extremely valuable tips to help take your chiropractic blog to the next level. Enjoy!
