How to Schedule Old Multiple Blog Entries Under One Minute Using MarketMeSuite

This is a guest post by Dr. Eduard Burt of San Leandro, California.

This is a step-by-step approach on how to use MarketMeSuite platform promoting your old blog post under one minute.

  1. Select an old post from blog and copy and paste a headline into you MarketMeSuite platform.
  2. Copy an URL of the same blog post and paste it into your MarketMeSuite platform right next to a headline.
  3. Use URL shorten on MMS – it will shrink your old URL into bit.ly short URL extension. This will allow you to keep your tweet under 140 characters.
  4. Copy Headline with Bit.ly extension of your URL blog Post from MMS platform and paste it into blank WORD page or any other word processing application.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 till you have all of your old posts on one page. Below is an example of what it should look like. I just have 4 here but you can have as many as you wish. The only limitation is how many blog posts you have done so far.

  9. Paste them into Import Tweets Window.
  10. Next Step is Very Important – Click on Use Override Intervals – This will allow to set up frequency of your tweets. The default is every hour for each tweet that you have Pasted into a MMS platform. If you move to the left the tweets will be published in 50, 40, 30, 20 etc minutes frequency and the opposite if you move to the right.
  11. Click Import Tweets
  12. Click Save Tweets – you will be able to see loading % process.

Congratulations – you are done! Now all your tweets are about you and your practice and no 3rd party software marketing.

  1. Great post, Dr. Burt! I can see yet another advantage of using MarketMeSuite now versus using services such as, TweetDeck or SocialOomph. The ability to import an entire list of tweets all at once is a great time saver!

In addition, I can tell you how to save even more time by combining your first 3 steps into one simple step.

First, go to the bit.ly site and install the bit.ly sidebar in you browser’s toolbar, then go to your post and click the new button on your toolbar and a status update with the Post’s Title and it’s shortened link comes up. Edit if necessary, select all, and then simply copy and paste it to where ever you want to.

One caveat: Be careful when using word processing applications to copy and paste from, as they can mess with the HTML code and cause a lot of problems. The safest thing to do is use the “paste and match style” on a Mac or the “paste and remove formatting” option on a windows based PC when pasting anything to avoid any potential problems.

    • Dr. Heins, I concur. I, too, use the bit.ly bookmarklet within my browser’s toolbar. It’s very efficient and works well.

Regarding your comment regarding word processor software, you are correct. Word processors add additional “hidden” characters that can cause major problems when copying and pasting within HTML code.

I personally use TextWrangler by Bare Bones Software. It’s a powerful general purpose text editor that allows one to easily strip the hidden code from any text as well as many other features like text wrap, et cetera.

So, when I copy and paste text, I first drop it into TextWrangler, select All, then select Convert to ASCII found under the Text menu item. This assures that problematic code or characters are completely stripped out of the text you want to use within HTML.

      Hope this helps!

    • Thank you very much for additional short cut steps. I will definately look into bit.ly plug in for a browser and will implement it ASAP.

As you already know I am addicted to PC’s. My MAC learning curve is very slow at this point and time. I only have one machine which is in my office. Everywhere else I am surrounded by PC’s. I am hoping that within a year or so this will change. I like the efficiency of MAC computers very much and their abilities to outperform PC’s in many ways.

Thank you for an additional tip on removing HTML code from MS Word file.
