Chiropractic Apps: iPhone & Android Apps for Chiropractors

Chiropractic iPhone & Android AppsIf you’re an Apple aficionado, you’re probably already aware of Apple’s big iPhone event that’s scheduled for tomorrow. If you have no clue on what I’m talking about, then see Brett Molina’s Report: Apple event slated for Oct. 4 that was featured in USA Today.

Just like previous events, Apple will hit a home run by unveiling new products and services that’ll transform the way we do business and enjoy life. It’s the former that I’d like to focus on today — transforming the way chiropractors do business.

Over 50% of those that connect to the Internet today are doing so via a mobile device. Local mobile search volume is growing exponentially at 50% per year. 80% of searchers research online before purchasing in a 10-20 mile radius. And, the #1 access method for local information is the mobile browser with 20.7 million users per month.

With so many prospects turning to mobile devices, I have to wonder how many chiropractors are capitalizing on this phenomenon or just simply letting business pass them by.

How Chiropractors Can Easily Survey Website Visitors

kissinsights-surveyIf you’re a business owner and chiropractic entrepreneur, you don’t need me to remind you how important statistics are to the health and future growth of your chiropractic practice. Correct numbers not only speak volumes on what you’re doing correctly but also on what needs to be fixed.

However, outside of cold hard stats, another area that needs constant monitoring is your customer service program. Smart chiropractors not only have systems in place that allow patients to give accurate assessments but also monitor that input so that their business doesn’t run aground unexpectedly simply by not paying attention.

Consequently, producing super satisfied customers becomes our goal. Without them, we can forget about creating self-sustaining, referral-based practices.

That being the case, let me ask you, how well are you doing? Do you have a system in place that allows patients to tell you straight from your webiste?

17 YouTube Videos You May Have Missed

YouTubeDo you know which search engine is the second largest on the Internet? Did you guess Bing? What about Yahoo? If either one of those were your choice, then unfortunately you’re wrong.

The second largest search engine on the Internet today is YouTube.

You may be thinking YouTube? Really?

Yes, YouTube. Most people don’t think of it as a search engine but it is — and a rather unique one at that. Instead of returning text-based content obviously it returns video content.

Another thing you may not know is that Next Generation Chiropractor has a YouTube channel. And even though I don’t use it like I should, you’ll still find valuable information that’ll help build a more powerful and productive chiropractic blog.

So today, I’d like to feature 17 YouTube Videos You May Have Missed from my Next Generation Chiropractor YouTube channel. They are as follows:

Why Next Generation Chiropractor Has Reason to Celebrate

CelebrateToday is April 1st, 2011. And, even though it’s April Fool’s Day, I’m not joking when I tell you that Next Generation Chiropractor has been online for exactly two years to the day.

To be honest, it’s hard to believe. It seems like yesterday that I published its first post and watched as its stats reported new traffic. Thanks to pre-thought, planning, and Twitter! ;-)

How to Give Chiropractic Assistants Access to Your Chiropractic Blog

Let’s face it … running a chiropractic practice takes finesse, focus, and fortitude. Unlike medical doctors, chiropractors don’t have the luxury of plugging into a system that’s already been created for them. Instead, we have to spread our entrepreneurial wings and learn how to fly ourselves.

For many, that’s not a bad thing. I’d much rather be an entrepreneur that delivers true healthcare instead of a technician that delivers sickness care. We, as chiropractors, have the best of both worlds handed to us upon graduation — the ability to get sick people well and to generate a lucrative income from our service.

Nevertheless, an efficient system built within the right business model is still a must. It’s the foundation that supports the practice both now and into the future — and, we all know how valuable that is during this turbulent era of healthcare!

How to Capture Quality Chiropractic Leads By Using a Landing Page

A landing page, aka “squeeze page”, is a specialized web page that visitors are directed to for the sole purpose of capturing their name and email address. Once captured, these highly-targeted leads can be marketed to from now until eternity as long as they stay on your list.

Fortunately, you don’t need to be a technical genius, and you certainly don’t need to spend thousands of dollars to enjoy the massive benefits of a high converting, professionally-designed landing page.

Instead, check out Chiropractic Landing Pages.

What Chiropractic Businesses Require for Continual Growth and Success

Before I discuss today’s topic, I wanted to thank each one of you for your loyalty to Next Generation Chiropractor. Even though I only published one blog post last week due to an extended vacation, reader comments, reader engagement, and overall reader visits remained consistent when compared to previous site stats. For that, I’m extremely grateful.

While on vacation, I had ample time to reflect. So, during those Innate moments, I jotted down many notes, overtaxed my Evernote account, and drained my iPhone’s battery multiple times just to make sure I didn’t lose the creative ideas that kept escaping my cerebral cortex.

One of those thoughts revolved around what chiropractic businesses require for continual growth and success.

How to Protect Your Chiropractic Content via the S3MediaVault WordPress Plugin

This week in Blogging Chiros, chiropractors are learning how to create a membership site for their prospects and patients. So far, we’ve discussed why chiropractors need a membership site, the software that makes it possible, and how to protect content from being stolen.

Since content is the foundation of membership sites, knowing how to protect it is vitally important. And, if you want to protect it from being freely distributed, you need even more security than what most membership software provides.

But what if you don’t have plans to create a membership site? Should chiropractors still protect content that’s being published to their chiropractic blog?

What is Your Greatest Challenge as an Online Chiropractic Entrepreneur?

Since the inception of Next Generation Chiropractor, I’ve focused primarily on educating chiropractors on how to use blogs and social media to market and grow their practices.

As time marches on, one thing’s for sure — my passion to help chiropractors with inbound marketing has only increased.

Even though there are various ways to gauge passion to determine the health of a blog, one of the ways I determine it is by examining my editorial calendar juxtaposed with the number of blog posts in queue. If the numbers are low, it’s time to re-evaluate my purpose, focus, and commitment to its cause.

Why Chiropractic Blogs Should Be Chiropractors’ New Patient Internet Marketing Tool of Choice – Part 4

blogIn Part 3 of this series titled Why Chiropractic Blogs Should Be Chiropractors’ New Patient Internet Marketing Tool of Choice, I introduced chiropractors to a two sentence quote by Brian Clark of CopyBlogger that beautifully summarizes the difference between social media networks and a blog.

If you missed it, Brian stated, “Social media sites are tools to be used. Blogs and websites are assets to be owned and grown.”

After dissecting Brian’s quote, chiropractors should have a better understanding on why a chiropractic blog is an asset and social media networks like Facebook and Twitter are tools used to grow the asset.

But, even though Brian’s statement is an epiphany to many chiropractors, we can’t simply stop there. We need to dive deeper to fully understand what makes a blog tick and why it is so powerful.
