Chiropractic Internet marketing can be daunting for many practicing chiropractors.

Not only are you required to keep up and participate with social media networks like Facebook, Google+, and Twitter but you’re also required to build a strong web presence through the creation of consistent content.

Why?

Because content is king!

How to Build WordPress Landing Pages that Work

Premise for WordPressDid you know that half of small businesses don’t have a website?

Think about that for a moment…

In our highly-connected world, 1 out of 2 or, more accurately, 51% of small businesses in the United States DO NOT have a website to promote their products and services.

Apparently in Australia the percentages are higher. According to Dynamic Business, two out of three Australian small businesses don’t have a website.

That doesn’t even make sense!

How on earth do you expect to generate more business in today’s digital age if your business isn’t online?

How to Increase Authority Using Google+

Google PlusOnline authority is a big deal. It not only helps your blog’s PageRank but also builds credibility with both your audience and major search engines.

Don’t believe me?

Then explain to me why Google consistently refreshes its search algorithm. I assure you, it’s not for kicks and grins!

Instead, it’s Google’s way of refreshing its system. In other words, it’s their attempt toward accurately indexing content linked to the original authors. By doing so, original authors get credited with higher PageRank whereas scrapers get dumped.

With the beta introduction of Google+ linked with +1s, Google can now more fully test a system of site ownership using those two entities.

In a nutshell, Google allows site owners to attribute authorship by linking their Google+ profiles to their blogs and vice versa.

Here’s how it works …

4 YouTube SEO Resources for Chiropractors

YouTube for ChiropractorsIt seems like every time I fire up Flipboard and dive into its Tech section, I find ample articles on Google and Facebook. It doesn’t come as a surprise, though, considering they are the top two visited websites in the world.

But what about YouTube who sits at number three?

Outside of recent announcements regarding channels and live streaming, I typically don’t see very many articles written for small businesses that show how to maximize its platform and services.

And, it’s not that I’m not looking for them either. Especially when you consider that I subscribe to over 1000 RSS feeds related to technology and social media.

You may wonder how I read over 1000 RSS feeds per week. Truth be known, I don’t. I just simply scan headlines for potentially relevant and useful information that can be forwarded to Evernote for later review and research.

3 Things That Should Never Change With Your Chiropractic Local Listing

Google MarkerAs the landscape for search expands more toward local, chiropractors need to realize that a successful web presence isn’t just tied to search engine optimized content anymore. Instead, it now requires a player in two games instead of one.

The first game remains the same — one that generates consistent and relevant content through a blog in order to benefit from the long tail effect. This guarantees success well into the future when trying to build a strong web presence.

The second is more location-based — one that feeds specific and correct information about one’s business into the Big Three, aka Google, Yahoo, and Bing, and hundreds of smaller directories.

How Chiropractors can Assess PageRank, Authority, and Website Traffic

Over the weekend, I had a comment come through for an older post that basically suggested that if you listed your site with Alexa and used their toolbar, traffic to your website would increase. Although a nice thought, it just isn’t true.

Building an online presence takes time. But time isn’t the only ingredient. There are many other factors like using the right software juxtaposed with search engine optimized copy just to name a few.

Then, when this symphony of ingredients mixes correctly and is allowed to age like a fine bottle of Bordeaux, many amazing things can and will occur. For starters, all that hard work will eventually pay off when your increased traffic transforms into loyal customers.

However, no matter how well your site performs, always be cognizant of its need for improvement. In other words, it doesn’t take long to lose your place in line if you don’t pay attention to details.

So, to help you keep track of the details, let’s take a look at three tools chiropractors can use to assess website traffic, authority, and PageRank. And, to illustrate my point, I’ll throw in images related to this blog, Next Generation Chiropractor.

3 Secrets Chiropractors Must Now Use For Internet Marketing Success

top-secretAs more chiropractors discover the power of the Internet to market their chiropractic practices, many of them are still clueless on how to build a dominating presence online.

Instead of learning how to generate massive traffic to their sites, they signup for website packages that look pretty, incorporate 3-D spinal images, and promote chiropractic in terms that only chiropractors understand.

Then, after spending insane amounts of money on all of this “cutting-edge” technology, they scratch their heads wondering why their site doesn’t generate traffic let alone new patients.

However, chiropractors that pay attention to how real businesses profit from this new media will not only thrive within their brick and mortar establishments but also online.

So, in today’s Digital Age, how is this accomplished?

4 SEO Tips Chiropractors Can Use to Increase PageRank

One fallacy I see chiropractors embrace when starting a chiropractic blog is that once they publish a few posts they’ll be quickly found. Unfortunately, nothing can be further from the truth. Building an online presence takes time, persistence, and a basic understanding on how search engines work.

Yes, your chances increase if your blog’s built within WordPress, uses the proper mix of plugins, and is indexed with major search engines like Google and Bing. But, if you don’t pay attention to the details, your blog will be just one of the hundreds of millions that clutter the blogosphere and waste valuable bandwidth.

So, before you start a chiropractic blog, you really need to understand its purpose, commitment level, and power. I won’t elaborate on the aforementioned since I’ve written about them before; but, suffice it to say, when blogs are used properly, they can put you on the map and drive hundreds of new patients into your chiropractic practice’s door.
