Learn Chiropractic Marketing Inside of Club 365

Club 365One of the biggest struggles I see chiropractors face today is how to market their practices in an Internet-driven society.

As more marketing campaigns move online, social media and inbound marketing have become increasingly important assets for chiropractors to get found by and engage with potential patients.

Think about the way you find information about products and services – are you watching TV ads? Going through your junk mail? Or are you consulting a search engine or a friend?

People have gotten better and better at ignoring marketing messages with DVRs, caller ID, and spam filters. Instead they visit Google and social networks for answers to their questions.

The question for you is, will you be there to answer it?

LinkedIn Basics for Chiropractors

LinkedIn Basics for ChiropractorsIf social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter are the Yellow Pages of the new century, then LinkedIn is the B2B directory.

Just as your social media pages can offer a great deal more than any ad in the Yellow Pages ever could, LinkedIn provides the opportunity to learn and do more than any printed media ad can do.

Think of it as a big mixer party for all the people with whom you may or may not do business: there are many chances to make new acquaintances and get introductions to professionals and business people you should know. Since it offers access to everywhere, it is the ultimate networking tool.

How to Use Facebook iFrames

FacebookBack in March, Facebook deprecated FBML for iFrames. What this meant was Page admins would no longer be able to install new FBML apps and developers would no longer be able to create them. Instead, they’d need to embrace iFrames as the new standard.

Around that time I noticed several entrepreneurs releasing new products and services that made the conversion from FBML to iFrames insanely simple. Since I administrate numerous Pages, it was a no brainer to purchase them to help streamline the conversion.

Here’s a list of the tools I use:

But you don’t necessarily need to spend your hard-earned cash on any of the above if you only administrate one Page. Yes, they’ll provide you with the tools to make your Page pop, but if you’re just starting out you can simply install the Static HTML: iframes tabs app by following these 3 Easy Steps:

How to Secure the Username of Your Chiropractic Facebook Page

FacebookOn June 13, 2009 Facebook rolled out Facebook Usernames. This allowed individuals to choose a username for their profile and Facebook Pages.

I, like many others, secured my username the moment it went live. Why? Because the vanity URL is an important aspect of most social media websites. Being able to choose the URL for your social profile (i.e. Facebook.com/PatrickMacNamara) not only makes it easy to share with others, but helps you claim a little piece of social media space as your own.

Not only did I secure the username for my personal profile but also for my Page. This way I can maintain privacy via my personal profile but still easily connect with people I’ve never met.

11 Ways to Market Your Chiropractic Practice Online Successfully

MarketRecently, I’ve received several emails from chiropractors wondering how they can successfully market their chiropractic practice online.

One of the first questions I ask is do you have a blog.

Why?

Because like I’ve said many times before, your chiropractic blog SHOULD always be the hub of all your online marketing endeavors.

Having lead-generating landing pages with automated systems for email campaigns isn’t enough for sustained growth.

Yes, it’ll produce short-term gains but the real power lies in a long-term commitment centered around building your brand online through a blog.

Think I’m wrong?

11 Google Plus Videos For The Beginner

Google PlusYesterday Google launched their Google Plus Project. After taking the tour, I’m extremely impressed and believe that they finally got it right when it comes to social media.

Matter of fact, I believe they’re more prepared to compete with Facebook this go around than they were in times past. If all goes as expected, I think they’ll easily propel past Facebook as the #1 social media network in the world.

But, if you’re still waiting for a coveted invite, takes some time to peruse the following videos. They’ll set the stage for things to come.

How to Add the Facebook Like Button to Your Chiropractic Blog

Facebook Like ButtonIn my last post, I introduced 6 Facebook strategies every chiropractor should know. The fifth strategy on the list was having an Engagement Strategy.

Even though engagement is an essential part, I don’t want you to think that it should only happen on Facebook. It should also happen on Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, and your chiropractic blog.

Why your blog?

Because your blog should be the center of all your online marketing endeavors. By leveraging the power of social media you’ll not only be able to drive prospects back to your blog but also be able capture their email addresses for future communication and marketing.

6 Facebook Strategies Every Chiropractor Should Know

FacebookWithout a doubt, Facebook is a force to be reckoned with. Not only does it sit at #2 among Alexa’s top website list but on some days it generates more page views than Google.

And, with a membership of over 650 million people, chiropractors should pay attention and get active on this social media network before more customers are lost.

Unfortunately, though, most chiropractors simply don’t know where to start. Sure, they’ve signed up, got a personal account, filled in some information, sent friend requests, and probably even created a page for their chiropractic practice. But if they don’t know what to do after that, they miss the enormous business opportunities that other small businesses are profiting from.

So today I decided to help lay the foundation for your chiropractic Facebook Page by covering the 6 Facebook strategies every chiropractor should know.

11 Ways Chiropractors Can Build a Stronger Web Presence

Strong Web PresenceBack in February, Google spanked quite a few prominent websites across the U.S. with its new “search quality” algorithm code-named Panda. Designed to eradicate content farms, Google went after sites that consistently publish shabbily produced, keyword-loaded content.

The biggest losers were sites like blippr.com, associatedcontent.com, articlebase.com, mahalo.com, and ezinearticles.com to name a few.

To show you how powerful Google is regarding e-commerce and how one of their algorithmic changes can wreck havoc on businesses who hold high search rankings but try to ignore Google’s rules, consider Mahalo. After Panda was released, Mahalo saw a 87.3% drop in its Organic Performance Index and had to eliminate 10% of its workforce shortly after the change.

With that being the case, chiropractors need to pay attention to the quality of their content no matter where it is being published. For starters, focus on producing great content. Remember, you need to think like a publisher not a marketer when writing your articles.

So, what makes for good content in Google’s eyes?
