If you recall, last Friday I announced a new series that I’ll be hosting every Friday featuring one chiropractor that I’ve connected with on Twitter. If you’re new to the site, please read last week’s post for a more in-depth explanation of the series.
Before I introduce this week’s featured chiropractor, I want to thank each one of you that have responded and shown interest in participating in this series. I, quite frankly, was overwhelmed by the emails and direct messages I received through Twitter.
If you’re reading this for the first time and haven’t sent in your request, I highly recommend that you do so as soon as possible. I’m already building a nice list of future participants and the sooner you get your name in the pool, the sooner I’ll be able to feature you and your practice. Simply direct message me through Twitter or fill out the contact form on this blog. As soon as I receive your request, I’ll respond back asking for the information you’d like featured.
Now, without further adieu, allow me to introduce to you our very first #followfriday chiropractor, Dr. Ian D. Tremayne.
You can find him on the web at www.cafeoflifemarin.com
He summarizes his practice as follows:
“Cafe of Life is unique because we offer a variety of treatments for a variety of issues that the people we serve might be having such as, but not limited to, neurological disorders, spinal disc issues, chronic unexplained pain issues, pediatrics, pre- and post-natal care, Webster Technique, and wellness. We treat you as a whole person.”
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, he personally specializes in Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic technique. He has studied under Dr. Tiscareno at Life Chiropractic College West and currently is a part of That Something coaching program with Dr. Shawn Dill and Dr. Paige Van Slooten from The Specific Chiropractic Center.
Dr. Tremayne’s life purpose is to spread the message of love and Chiropractic globally and to make Chiropractic and other wellness care as affordable as possible so that everyone has the opportunity to utilize it BEFORE medicine.
His main passions, besides Chiropractic, are to make his family’s lives as awesome and beautiful as possible, to get sick people well, to restore health and hope to all, and to become a leader in our profession in order to bring back the truth and the Big Idea of Chiropractic.
Some hobbies he enjoys are snowboarding, skiing, rock climbing, feeding his brain with knowledge, sharing the Big Idea, hanging with his wife, and going to hardcore, metal shows.
One of his most favorite things to do is to work as a Doc at Rock Med. They are the medical professionals in the SF Bay Area and Sacramento who work at all big events and concerts. They provide non-judgemental free healthcare services through the Haight Ashbury Free Medical Clinics at events. Their goal is to get the audience and performers back to the show if they are in need for medical care as soon as possible without having the authorities intervene. As he puts it, “Healthcare is a right, not a privilege”.
If you’d like to connect with Dr. Tremayne, you can do so through his blog, Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter.
His practice’s address and phone number are as follows:
Cafe of Life Chiropractic Center of Marin
465 Miller Ave.
Mill Valley, Ca. 94941
(415) 389-8435
And, in closing, I leave you with his motto — “may you be happy, may you be well”

Nice profile. I’ve had the chance to talk a little bit with Dr. Tremayne on Facebook. He’s a good guy. Not to mention, he knows what he’s doing if he trained under Shawn Dill.
Great blog by the way. I like the look.
Thanks, Brandon, for your input.
Also, I appreciate your kind remarks regarding the site. Thanks for visiting!
